Guardtime is looking for a Communication Manager for R&D projects

About the Role
The Communication Manager for R&D projects is actively enhancing communication of mostly European R&D projects via full range of channels to support successful implementation of the activities and goals of the projects. The role will be based in Estonia (Tallinn/Tartu).
You will have an unique opportunity to apply the full range of your professional competences in truly exciting environment. You will be developing communication strategies and leading communication and dissemination activities in European research, development and innovation projects (e.g. Horizon2020, ESA etc). This includes communication with multiple internal and external partners both in Estonia and Europe. It means you need to like to travel. You will be developing a fantastic network while looking for synergies in communication and dissemination activities with other research, development and innovation projects and industry partners. Multitasking and hands-on approach is something you love - organising and hosting project workshops and seminars, managing social media and website content of research and innovation projects, coordinating the development and design of communication materials are part of your everyday life. We also see you as a valuable expert to contribute to Guardtime`s corporate strategic communication and outreach in Europe together with our PR partner and internal stakeholders.
- At least 5 year’s of work experience in communication field
- Interest to work with researchers and industry partners from various fields
- Prior experience in the technology sector or demonstrated interest
- A native English speaker or proficient English user (C2 level)
- Preferably proficiency in using at least of one additional foreign language
- Team player
- Previous experience in external partner engagement
- Time management skills, ability to be self-sufficient and resourceful
- Ability to effectively present information to external audiences
