European Cyber Security Organization (ECSO)

A new industry body  - European Cyber Security Organization (ECSO) - was formed to facilitate the fulfillment of the signed cPPP agreement as well as to form a think-tank focusing on European industrial policy advisory in cybersecurity.

ECSO is an industry-led organization with members including a variety of stakeholders such as large European companies, SMEs and startups, research centers, universities, clusters and association as well as European Member State’s local, regional and national administrations, countries part of the European Economic Area (EEA) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).

Guardtime - along with EOS, ACN,  TeleTrusT and CNR - was appointed as one of the five coordinators responsible for creating the Industry Proposal for the Cybersecurity cPPP, and Guardtime's SVP Martin Ruubel serves at the ECSO Board as a First Director.

Over 130 organizations had applied for ECSO membership at it's inception, including Airbus, Atos, Bosch, BT, Ericsson, Leonardo, SAP, Siemens, Telefonica, Thales and others, making it the largest and the most influential European association for cybersecurity already at its birth.
