At the annual meeting in Stockholm of GIRP, the European pharma wholesalers association, Guardtime and IQVIA presented a solution to manage drug shortages.
By combining IQVIA
business intelligence and Guardtime's KSI blockchain stack inventory levels can be made visible in the aggregate - without disclosing
individual company stocks. This way business confidentiality is
preserved while providing all stakeholders with essential information to
plan for continued supplies and to protect patient safety.
